What is Motability?

Delivering enhanced freedom and independence since 1977

This UK charity enables individuals in receipt of a qualifying mobility allowance to lease a new car while enjoying various other benefits.

Am I Eligible?

Find out if you qualify for Motability.

You’ll qualify for Motability if you receive one of the following qualifying mobility allowances, and it has at least 12 months of award length remaining:

  • Higher rate mobility part of Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
  • Higher rate mobility part of Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
  • War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement (WPMS)
  • Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP)
